Thank you Justin, Nora, Kris, and Jake for contributing on this discussion. I am also pretty new with Google+ and still learning about its potential. I will try Google+ for my free online writing class this Fall. I will keep you with the update of what students think about it. The "Hang Out" on Google+ probably can become a place for having a synchronous online class session. Recently, many blogs and users talk about its potential for education. Have anybody experienced using apps for iPad/iPhone/iPod relate with education. These are some apps that i found interesting for classroom teaching & learning:
- Read me stories (reading)
- Math Drills (math)
- TouchChords, Guitar free & Virtuoso (music)
- BestDictation (writing)
- NASA (Science)
Most of these apps are available free on iTune store.
I want to hear more about your experiences using apps in your classroom. -

Thanks for posting George and Julie. I have used Kindle since 2009. My Kindle is the 2nd generation that come with free 3G and international access. It's different from iPad, but I have to admit that it worked well when I carried it to Indonesia. What I like from Kindle is it allows me to have more
