Hey there! :-) I'm new to this site and just trying to navigate my way around to network and speak with other like-minded people about the school system that I'm currently developing: Alinkage Public School, A Holistic Approach to Learnig. We are creating a website to further ongoing disucssions about this new approach to learning, but you can also get a better view of where I'm coming from by visiting www.facebook.com/apsglobal or www.twitter.com/alinkageschool
Hope to hear back from you :-)

Hi Scott, wondering if you have any second language learners in your English classes?
Paul Warren You can also use vimeo. Is is exactly like youtube but not as popular so there is a good chance it won't be blocked.120 days ago -
Dear Scott, "Techies, don't be pompous. Newbies, don't be hesitant. Cranks, don't be mean." We like your suggestions! - The 21st Century Teacher Team

Hai Scott,
Love to be in your group. While I am not a Second Language teacher, but my interest in technology can come across with this group purpose. Looking forward to have more discussion with you and other group members about how we can incorporate technology, such as text-to-speech, dictation apps, e-reading apps, online dictionary and etc to enhance language learning. -
I hope this group grows exponentially...a few suggestions for the group: Techies, don't be pompous. Newbies, don't be hesitant. Cranks, don't be mean. If we can manage those few things, I think this will be a fun place to learn and share.
A group where secondary English teachers can share ideas, ask questions, and vent frustrations. Beyond the tools and toys, language and literacy has changed immensely in the Digital Age. This group can help us make sense of all of this and help us all to be better at what we do: prepare students to live in the digital world.
