I've used the Ipad on different aspects of my carrer and I can say that it is an excelent tool on e-learning. All my bok are downloaded there and I take my college notes on it. I use it for working too. I work for a technology team on Puerto Rico and we are introducing the tool in the Education Department on what we call "Tech 4 Teachers".

I have iPad, but have yet to use it to demonstrate anything to our local PC/Apple club in town. I own a 1st gen iPad and have selected some choice, free apps to use with it. Free is the name of the game for me. I am anxious to learn from others and help if my limited knowledge base allows.

Try using audio note lite for free during a meeting and you'll quickly realize some benefits for students... I have upgraded to full for myself but it wasn't all that necessary.

Have anybody experienced using apps for iPad/iPhone/iPod relate with education. These are some apps that i found interesting for classroom teaching & learning:
- Read me stories (reading)
- Math Drills (math)
- TouchChords, Guitar free & Virtuoso (music)
- BestDictation (writing)
- NASA (Science)
Most of these apps are available free on iTune store.
